The Tortoise and the Hare & Other Tales
Symphony in C’s First Commercial Recording on Bridge Records
Symphony in C’s first commercial recording, The Tortoise and the Hare & Other Tales, introduces young listeners to the excitement of the symphony orchestra through six imaginative musical stories created by Composer-in-Residence Daniel Dorff.
Designed for children and families, this recording offers an engaging introduction to classical music by combining orchestral storytelling, narration, and memorable melodies.
Recorded at the Walter K. Gordon Theater at Rutgers University–Camden, The Tortoise and the Hare & Other Tales is the first professional orchestral recording produced in Camden, New Jersey, since the golden age of recordings under the RCA label.
